Our Mission We're getting more girls in Atlanta involved in sports! Founded by health experts and in partnership with Emory University School of Medicine, Ladybug for Girls® Sports Wellness is an innovative sports-based youth development (SBYD) program that provides girls ages 5-12 years with evidence-based health education classes and sport safety resources. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where girls can build healthy habits, develop confidence, and stay engaged in sports for life. We achieve this by teaching girls’ healthier habits, building their self-confidence, increasing their participation in youth sports, and by advocating for healthier environments where they live, learn, and play both locally and globally.
