Ladybug for Girls® was built to change that. A single 20-minute movement session changes how a
child's brain performs. We built a program around that science. Not with motivation posters. Not
with another after-school activity. With the behavioral science proven to keep girls in sport —
developed in partnership with Emory University School of Medicine.
EXPLORE THE SCIENCE ➔
Girls quit sport at twice the
rate of boys by age 14
The Crisis No One Is Solving
PARTNER WITH US ➔The Ladybug for Girls® sport wellness methodology identifies three simultaneous intervention
domains, not a sequence, but three interlocking conditions that must all be present for a girl to
stay in sports past age 14.
Why girls leave sports
and the three things that bring them back

Girls who understand what physical
activity does for their brain, their
confidence, and their long-term
health make different choices.
Physical Activity Literacy is the
knowledge that makes sports feel
worth staying for.
She needs to

She needs to
feel she belongs
From stretching to nutrition
science and individual body care
rituals — these are the cross-
training disciplines that build the
whole girl: her body, her mind, and
her identity as an athlete. Not a
luxury add-on. A behavioral
science imperative.

DOMAIN ONE:
Physical Literacy

DOMAIN THREE: Social & Emotional Support
Peer belonging is the single
strongest predictor of sustained
sport participation in girls. The
Champions Sisterhood is not a nice-
to-have. It is the evidence-based
intervention with the strongest
research support for girls ages 5–12.
DOMAIN TWO:
Cross-Training
THE METHOD · DEVELOPED AT EMORY UNIVERSITYLadybug for Girls® is not a wellness trend. It is a behavior science intervention designed with the
rigor of academic research and the warmth of a mother who has lived every moment of the
challenges it addresses.
Selected by the Society for Public Health Education
(SOPHE) and Centers for Disease Control &
Prevention (CDC) Healthy Schools to receive guidance
on health education curricula, planning, and program
implementation for elementary schools.
Ladybug for Girls® hosts its first health education
session centered around sport activities at the
Clarkston Community Center. That same year, invited
to launch its first after-school club at a Dekalb County
Elementary School.

Ready to bring Ladybug to your program?Built for every sport
she loves.
Ladybug for Girls® programs operate across elementary schools, after-school
clubs, cheer gyms, dance studios, gymnastics academies, swim teams, tennis
programs, volleyball clubs, soccer leagues, and golf academies. If she
competes, we built something for her.
Ladybug for Girls® recognizes competitive dance, cheer, and movement arts
as sports — consistent with sports medicine research on training demands,
injury profiles, and athletic performance requirements. Every girl who trains
with the physical discipline of a dancer is an athlete. We built this for her.We proudly support the organizations keeping girls in sports.18 years in the making. One method. For every girl who shows up.
Sport supports brain development.
We have the evidence to prove it — and the program to deploy it.
